Roof Maxx Treatment
5-Year Flexibility Warranty
Renewable Up to 15 Years Total
Every Roof Maxx treatment is backed by the official Roof Maxx Flexibility Warranty. Roof Maxx guarantees that treated asphalt shingles will remain flexible and in serviceable condition for 5 years from the date of treatment. Treatments can be reapplied up to three times for up to 15 years of total protection.
Shingle flexibility guaranteed for 5 years
Treated shingles are guaranteed to remain flexible and serviceable from the treatment date. If they fail the Standardized Flexibility Test, your Certified Roof Maxx Dealer retreats the affected area on a prorated basis.
Renewable up to 3 treatments
Reapply every 5 years for up to 15 years of total extended roof life, at a fraction of full replacement cost.
Transferable to new owner
The Roof Maxx warranty transfers with the home when you sell, a genuine selling point when listing. The warranty remains valid even if the original manufacturer’s shingle warranty has expired or been voided.
Remains valid regardless of original manufacturer warranty status
The Roof Maxx Flexibility Warranty is independent and stays in effect even if your shingle manufacturer’s warranty is or becomes void due to time or transfer restrictions.
Important: What This Warranty Does NOT Cover
This is not a warranty against granule coating loss, leaks, or faulty installation of the existing roof. Damage from Acts of God, including wind, ice, snow, and hail, should be covered under your homeowner’s insurance policy.

What does “lifetime limited warranty” mean for windows and doors?
A lifetime limited warranty means the warranty covers the original purchaser for as long as they own the home, for the specific defects and scenarios outlined in the warranty terms. “Limited” means it applies to manufacturing defects, installation workmanship, and product performance failures, but excludes things like accidental damage, improper alterations, and normal wear in certain components. We provide the full warranty documentation at the time of installation so you know exactly what’s covered before we start.
Is the warranty transferable if I sell my home?
The Roof Maxx warranty is transferable to a new owner when you sell your home, making it a genuine selling point when listing your home. For windows and doors, transferability depends on the specific product and manufacturer program. Call us directly, and we can look up the exact terms for your installation and walk you through any steps needed to initiate a transfer.
How do I make a warranty claim?

We handle the process directly, so you don’t need to navigate a manufacturer’s call center on your own. Our goal is to resolve every warranty issue quickly and without hassle.
How does the Roof Maxx 5-year warranty work?
The Roof Maxx Flexibility Warranty guarantees that your treated asphalt shingles will remain flexible and in serviceable condition for five years from the date of treatment. If your shingles fail the Standardized Flexibility Test within that period, your Certified Roof Maxx Dealer retreats the affected area on a prorated basis over the 60-month warranty period. The treatment can be reapplied up to three times, every five years, for up to 15 years of total extended protection. Importantly, the Roof Maxx warranty remains valid even if your original shingle manufacturer’s warranty has expired or been voided due to time or transfer restrictions. Full warranty terms are provided at the time of your treatment.
What is NOT covered under the warranty?
Standard exclusions across all our warranty programs include: accidental damage (impacts, vandalism), damage caused by improper alterations or modifications made after installation, damage from extreme events not related to product performance, and cosmetic wear that doesn’t affect performance. For Roof Maxx, coverage is limited to treated asphalt shingle areas and does not extend to pre-existing structural roof issues. We’ll walk you through all exclusions at the time of your installation or treatment.
Do you offer any warranty on energy efficiency performance?
Our windows are ENERGY STAR® certified and meet the performance ratings specified at the time of sale. Insulated glass unit failure, including seal failure that causes fogging between panes, is covered under the product warranty. If your windows are performing noticeably worse than expected and you believe it’s a product or installation issue, contact us, and we’ll assess whether a warranty claim applies.
