We start with a thorough on-site energy audit of your building, where we examine the building envelope, HVAC performance, air sealing, insulation levels, window and door integrity, and utility data. Provide the Plan
After the audit, you’ll know exactly which improvements qualify for National Grid incentives and what your out-of-pocket cost will be after the program covers its share. No vague recommendations, and no pressure, just a clear roadmap you can act on at your own pace.

Expert Installation
We install all upgrades ourselves, including all windows, doors, air sealing, insulation, and weatherization, using factory-trained technicians who are experts in commercial buildings. Every project is completed to program specifications, and we handle all documentation required for National Grid rebate applications and any applicable tax credit filings on your behalf.

Patriot Home Solutions is an approved contractor for the National Grid Small Business Energy Efficiency program. If your business is a National Grid customer for natural gas or electric, and the account is in the business’s name, you may qualify for substantial project funding:
For properties not in a designated disadvantaged community, National Grid pays up to 70% of project costs, capped at $150,000
For properties in a designated disadvantaged community, National Grid pays up to 85% of project costs, capped at $150,000
Eligible upgrades include pipe insulation, roof and wall insulation, windows, duct sealing and insulation, air sealing, doors, and air curtains. Ask us to check your eligibility when you schedule your audit.

What does a commercial energy audit include?
A commercial energy audit from Patriot includes a full inspection of your building envelope (walls, roof, windows, doors, and foundation), a review of your utility bills over the past 12–24 months, and an assessment of HVAC performance and insulation levels. You receive a written report with prioritized recommendations and a summary of applicable NYSERDA rebates.
What rebates and incentives are available for commercial energy upgrades in New York?
Patriot Home Solutions is an approved contractor for the National Grid Small Business Energy Efficiency program, which is the primary incentive for most small businesses in Central New York. Eligible National Grid customers, those with a natural gas or electric account in the business name, can receive funding that covers up to 70% of project costs (or 85% for properties in a disadvantaged community), capped at $150,000. Qualifying upgrades include windows, doors, insulation, air sealing, roofing, duct sealing, pipe insulation, and air curtains. We verify your eligibility and handle all program documentation as part of our process.
